Rotary Valve
Rotary valves can also be called as an “airlock” as it keep things separate with an airtight fit. This could be 2 chambers which needs to have different pressure levels and the rotary valve allows this to happen and are often used to enter OR extract material from the chambers. As well as this the rotary valve is often used as a measuring or metering device.
Parmac have designed their own rotary valves as well as modified designs for customers with specific needs and requirements. Rotary valves can be painted on both sides if they need to be and Parmac can do this for you on request.

Parmac’s main client for this product is the largest bulk haulier in the UK for whom we provide a number of valves for each year. Their valves consist of hard chromed and ground bore with hard chromed ground faced end plates and stainless steel rotors. The rotary valves can be a fixed or mobile unit to suit any requirement and the valves can be hydraulically or electrically driven as required. As well as supply new rotary valves Parmac also offer a comprehensive breakdown and reconditioning service. On-site technicians available to service/repair valves as and when required and Parmac have a goods vehicle access so trailers can come onsite to be repaired under cover.
